Post-natal rehabilitation

Giving birth is a life changing experience yet it also proves to be a huge exertion on a woman's body. Due to delivery, the pelvic floor muscles and tummy muscles are stretched or torn and this can cause weakness post birth.

Weakness in pelvic muscles may lead to continence problems or urinary urgency problems.

The treatment provided for such conditions includes thorough assessment of the pelvic floor and tummy and body stabilizing/postural muscles.

An individulised exercise program tailored to each patient as well as hands on physiotherapy techniques to improve elasticity and help with scar tissue and pain are also implemented to achieve the best results for long-term recovery.
